About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the surgical unit at our brand-new Griffith Base Hospital. This frontline role is integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.

You will be joining our high performing multidisciplinary team who are welcoming, passionate and dedicated to providing essential health care services to our regional community.

As the Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care 
  • Recognise and respond to clinical changes 
  • Engage patients/carers and support safe discharge/transfer 
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams 
  • Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice 
  • Maintain professional accountability

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
  • Prior experience working within a surgical unit would be beneficial but not essential. 
  • Must hold Australian Working Rights
