In this role, you'll handle diary management, assist with administrative tasks, and prepare for meetings and committees within the Haematology Consulting Rooms.

What you'll be doing
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides organisational and administrative support to the Area Clinical Director of Haematology. This position is required to develop and maintain effective office systems and procedures, manage paperwork and minutes for committees, assist with Executive projects, and perform tasks and communicate on behalf of the Area Director as appropriate. The role assists with other secretarial and administrative duties as required.

- Demonstrated experience in providing executive administrative support, including the capacity to operate effectively with minimal supervision, exercise independent judgement, discretion and initiative and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage work priorities and work flow within allocated resources to support efficient and effective service delivery and commitment to providing quality services and applying quality improvement initiatives to workplace practices and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and key stakeholders, whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and ability to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities.
- Highly developed skills in using PC based software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations and electronic systems to complete work activities.
