We're seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Asset & Infrastructure team. If you're passionate about technology, data management, and system optimisation, we'd love to hear from you.

 

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week
Position Classification: Health Manager level 2
Remuneration: $109,857 per annum - $129,624 per annum + super and benefits
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Systems Administrator AFM Online is primarily responsible for the daily management, upkeep and configuration of the Assets Management System (AFM-Online). This includes active engagement with all directorates across NSW Ambulance to ascertain asset details and asset changes, active support for the annual Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Asset Management Plan (AMP), maintenance of asset databases and system updates and change implementation.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • The candidate has the skills and experience in working with an Asset Management Data Base System or AFM-Online (NSW Health Asset Management System) NSW Ambulance has state-wide significance and is a complex organisation providing services that are often high profile and/or politically sensitive with a high level of community expectation in service delivery. The Administrator AFM-Online System needs to ensure the accuracy and the integrity of the data in the Asset Management System.
  • The incumbent will need to have exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to work independently to resolve systems problems and develop system documentation, including travel to conduct on-site asset assessments.
  • Strategically maintaining an asset management system for a large portfolio with limited resources and to adhere evolving policy and state-wide asset management requirements. Support the management of large, complex data sets to ensure data quality and integrity. Managing competing demands of parallel program deliverables, timeframes and interdependencies whilst achieving performance and meeting all legislative and policy requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of matters that may affect progress and raising potential problems in a timely way. Assist in the implementation of strategic decisions on project matters and take initiatives through to the delegated level of responsibility. Determine matters that require escalation and seek advice or support from senior managers
  • Demonstrated technical background and expertise in systems administration, data management, custom reporting, and database maintenance.
