ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as a key member of the NSW Ambulance Assets and Infrastructure team, the position delivers a range of services and project management for the Northern Rivers projects within time and on budget, represents NSW Ambulance in regular interactions, and works closely with other government bodies, such as NSW Health Infrastructure (HI) and NSW Public Works Authority.

The Program Manager Northern Rivers Stations will work with relevant key stakeholders to ensure that the Lismore Ambulance Station and the Mullumbimby Ambulance Station project are realistically planned, developed, implemented and evaluated within the agreed timeframes and budget and applicable standards and regulations. This also includes activities relating to community engagement, design, construction, handover and the development of the ongoing facility and maintenance schedules for the buildings. Regular on-site attendance at the Lismore and Mullumbimby will be required.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience managing project scopes, monitoring project progress, identifying and managing project risks and issues
  • Solid understanding of Australian standards (AS), National Construction Codes (NCC) and other regulations, including compliant and accurate documentation
  • Ideally procurement experience in the public sector environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience to a senior level in project management relating to building design, construction or facility management, with the demonstrated implementation of local/regional programs of works, projects or initiatives. 
  • The position requires travelling to the Northern Rivers.
