ABOUT THE ROLE

Develop and implement internal and external marketing and communication campaigns that deliver effective messaging to NSW Ambulance's audiences and stakeholders and make a significant contribution to achieving organisational objectives and building reputation. The role is a member of the Media and Communications team and positively promotes the activities of NSW Ambulance internally and externally, educates the public about the organisation's purpose and operations and protects the public NSW Ambulance brand and reputation.

Please note: This position is for a period of up to twelve (12) months with possible extension.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:

  • Five years' experience as a journalist/editor for print/online publications
  • Excellent researching, writing and editing skills 
  • Strong plain English and speech writing ability
  • Juggling competing priorities while efficiently working to tight deadlines
  • Problem-solving and ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
