About the Opportunity
The Associate Director, ICT Project Services is a pivotal link between NSW Ambulance and eHealth NSW, overseeing the business project management function for ICT initiatives.
You’ll ensure ICT solutions, costings, and technical project management provided by eHealth NSW are effectively integrated into NSW Ambulance operations. This includes managing business-side project planning, funding approvals, stakeholder engagement, governance, and change management to deliver high-quality, sustainable digital outcomes.
As a trusted advisor and project leader, you’ll drive collaboration, influence key decisions, and ensure technology projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with NSW Ambulance’s strategic priorities.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the key link between NSW Ambulance and eHealth NSW to align project priorities.
- Oversee planning, funding, and reporting for ICT projects.
- Develop and maintain project governance and risk management frameworks.
- Engage stakeholders to represent operational needs and support change management.
- Coordinate project communications and implement consistent management practices.
- Lead and motivate teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

About You
You're an experienced project leader with a strong background in ICT delivery, business transformation, and stakeholder management within large and complex organisations. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can navigate competing priorities, and bring clarity and structure to complex projects. Your ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes and build collaborative partnerships will be key to your success.
You will bring:
- Extensive experience managing large or complex ICT projects and recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Proven success in stakeholder engagement and business transformation, ideally within emergency services or large government environments.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop, coach and motivate teams in a performance-based and customer-focused culture.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, governance, change management, and continuous improvement of ICT programs.
