Position Title:  Absence Coordination Line Officer
Employment Type: Permanent (Full-time)
Salary range: $79,350 per annum - $81,322 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Snr Admin Assist Gde 3)
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

About the Opportunity:

To provide high level administrative support to the rostering, deployment and People Hub teams. This is completed via data entry into the computerised rostering system, ensuring all changes are entered in a prompt, efficient and thorough manner. The position involves the processing of day of shift absences and the rostering of staff to day of shift vacancies. Communicating with staff at all levels of the organisation both in person and over the telephone.

Roles are appointed on a permanent full-time basis, working various shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster.


About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • You can demonstrate high level customer service skills in a process driven and fast paced work environment
  • You are able to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively in a role with a constantly evolving task list.
  • Technical skills such as proficient use of call centre based programs, workforce management applications and Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Desired attributes include a rostering or deployment background with experience in processing of absences, using initiative to identify operational requirements and proactively organising coverage.
