About the Opportunity
The Governance Officer is responsible for providing coordination and advice for a range of organisational governance, compliance and policy outcomes. The role assists in the oversight, development, review and compliance with the NSW Ambulance Corporate Governance Framework to support strong and transparent management accountability across the organisation.

About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following experience and capabilities:
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or bring equivalent knowledge, skills and demonstrated experience in governance, compliance or a related discipline.
- Provide expert advice on policy, governance and compliance matters, recommending practical solutions to resolve issues and mitigate organisational risk.
- Analyse complex information and data using strong research and analytical skills, translating findings into clear, accessible insights and actionable recommendations.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the corporate governance framework to inform sound and transparent decision-making.
- Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, briefs and publications that align with NSW Ambulance requirements and professional standards.
- Deliver innovative solutions that strengthen governance and compliance systems, while coordinating organisational support to promote awareness and effective utilisation.
- Plan and prioritise competing tasks effectively, managing multiple deliverables within tight timeframes while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of documentation and stakeholder interactions.
