About the Role


Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.

To provide executive administrative support to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Service in an efficient, professional and timely manner. This position is responsible for the provision of secretarial, administrative, clerical support to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Service and the Hospital’s Executive Unit. The position calls for knowledge for office systems and procedures, high standard of documentation preparation using Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal Candidate

 

  • High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare briefing notes and correspondence for the GM Unit.
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of computer systems and software including: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and electronic corporate records management system such as TRIM.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and providing executive and administrative support functions to the highest professional standards.
