About the opportunity

Join NSW Ambulance in this pivotal role where you’ll play a key part in developing the next generation of leaders. As the Coordinator Learning & Development, you will coordinate, plan, and deliver key leadership and training programs, supporting staff across NSW Ambulance to build their leadership capability.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure seamless program delivery, strong attendance, and alignment with NSW Ambulance’s vision and values. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your organisational and communication skills to a meaningful role that supports the professional growth of frontline staff across the state.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate the rollout of the leadership programs  and other L&D initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners (including HETI and training providers) to plan and deliver workshops and events.
  • Manage program logistics, bookings, attendance, and reporting to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support evaluation, data management, and reporting within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships that support cost-effective, high-quality learning programs.
  • Promote a healthy, respectful workplace culture aligned with NSW Health and NSW Ambulance values.


About you

We are on the search for a high-performing individuals with the following:

  • Proven experience coordinating learning and development or training programs.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Sound reporting, data analysis, and evaluation skills.
