An exciting position exists within NSLHD VMO Claims Verification team responsible for overseeing the examination and processing of VMO claims for payment.

What you'll be doing
Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Claims Verification Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the examination and processing of VMO claims for payment.
This position is also required to develop and implement improvements in the VMO claims audit process.
This position will be required to ensure information provision for the purpose of verification of VMO claims to ensure accuracy prior to submission for payment
This position will provide advice to VMOs and relevant stakeholders on VMO claiming and payment matter in relation to public hospital VMO determination Availability for duties across Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) is a requirement of this position.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of NSLHD electronic patient and staff pay systems or demonstrated ability to learn such systems and effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience in computer systems including Microsoft Office programs and hospital information database that encompass the range and diversity of functions subject to audit.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process development and analysis.
