Where you’ll be working: 
 
Hornsby Hospital Hospital in the Home team (HITH).

 

What you’ll be doing: As a Registered Nurse working in our Hospital in the Home (HITH) team, you will deliver acute hospital care in a home setting, build strong, one-on-one patient relationships, work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and enjoy greater flexibility and professional autonomy.

 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria

 

  1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
  3. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated skills in computer use and applications such as Windows, word processing and database.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
