What you'll be doing
The Clinical Team Leader Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership, coordination and clinical oversight of designated clinical pharmacy services at Northern Beaches Hospital. The role leads a team of rotational pharmacists to ensure safe, effective and timely delivery of clinical pharmacy services through workload management, clinical supervision, performance development, workforce coordination and management of daily service priorities. The position maintains an advanced clinical practice role and serves as the first point of contact for clinical, operational and staffing issues within the allocated specialty areas.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) with no conditions or restrictions on practice, or eligibility for immediate registration, and availability to participate in weekend, public holiday, after-hours and on-call rosters.
- A minimum of three years' post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably in an acute referral or teaching hospital, with demonstrated high-level clinical knowledge and judgement across a broad range of medical and surgical specialties.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and develop staff, including workload allocation, clinical supervision, competency-based assessment and the teaching of pharmacists, interns and students, and a proven ability to build a positive and collaborative team culture.
Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to liaise with novice and experienced health professionals, consumers and carers, and external service providers.
