The Clinical Nurse Educator (Stroke) at Ryde Hospital plays a pivotal role in promoting consumer-centred care, grounded in best practice for stroke management. This role involves leading staff education initiatives, providing expert guidance, and delivering targeted clinical education to nursing staff in collaboration with other multidisciplinary clinicians and Stroke specialists.

Ryde Hospital

Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
 

What you'll be doing
The Educator is also responsible for evaluating educational outcomes and participating in clinical practice reviews to ensure care is evidence-based. A key focus is the early identification and timely management of stroke, supporting continuous improvement in patient outcomes across Ryde Hospital.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  2. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  3. Holds extensive relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.

     

  4. Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
