What you'll be doing
The primary role is to provide advanced practice physiotherapy and clinical leadership within NSLHD, assistance and support to the Medical, Nursing and Allied Health (AH) team in the delivery of an efficient and high quality care to patients and clients. Senior Physiotherapist also provides Senior clinical support and management of physiotherapists
and provision of expert consultation in Physiotherapy for NSLHD.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Demonstrated current clinical knowledge of Physiotherapy, a high level of contemporary intervention skills, and demonstrated senior expertise in delivery, direction and management of physiotherapy services. Must have experience as a level 2 Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical and service consultation within the spinal pain pathway and its associated services such as the spinal surgery clinics.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting service development, quality improvement activities and professional education.
- Demonstrated senior clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in outpatient and clinic settings, with a focus on spinal pain assessment, treatment and case management.
