Social Work Team Leader - Acute Care Team, Social Work Department

2. Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with minimum experience as a level 2 , including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics.
3. Extensive post graduate experience working as a Social Worker across a range of clinical areas in a health setting, including a demonstrated understanding of complex health conditions and the impact on patient well-being.
4. Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, leadership and management of a Social Work team.
5. Demonstrated advanced communication skills (both written and oral) and demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems
6. Excellent negotiation, complex decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and manage stressful situations; ability to work unsupervised and apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel or critical nature across a team.
8. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to quality processes and the application of evidenced based practice within Social Work.
