Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Community Health Centre, St Leonards, Population Health Promotion Service

What you'll be doing
Within this role you will partner with young people to plan and deliver youth health promotion initiatives, support the development of youth‑friendly approaches across NSLHD, and contribute project management expertise to broader priority areas within the Social Wellbeing Program.
The role will require evening work (every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6.30pm–8.30pm) and occasional weekend work as required. 
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in health promotion, public health, education, community development, health sciences, sociology or other related discipline.
  2. Describe a situation where you led and supported a diverse team (e.g. staff, advisory groups or young people). How did you approach leading, empowering and supporting the team, and what was the outcome?
  3. Provide an example of a health promotion initiative you have planned, implemented and evaluated. Describe your approach, including how you measured outcomes, managed competing priorities, and worked autonomously where required.
