What you'll be doing
Management Accountant will be working for the District Management Accounting of Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) team and reporting to the Senior Management Accountant. The role is responsible to deliver timely, accurate and reliable financial results while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position will be responsible for business partnering, financial analysis, efficiency initiatives, performance reporting & monitoring and providing decision support. The role will also undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the Managers.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce and/or meet the requirements to be a member of a recognised Australian professional accounting body or have extensive experience in management accounting.
- High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and experience in liaison and negotiation at all levels and with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and capacity to interpret financial and non-financial data.
