Where you'll be working
 
Renal Department - Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards.

What you'll be doing
• The purpose of the senior clinical trials coordinator is to work in a team environment, managing a caseload of patients participating in Renal Clinical Trials 
• As this is a senior position in the team, it is expected that the senior clinical trials coordinator would manage some of the more complex studies within the unit. 
• The role provides leadership and guidance in all aspects of clinical trial activity and a high level mentoring of other staff is required. 
• The role is responsible for ensuring research is conducted in accordance with the protocol policy, legislation, ethical requirements and guidelines for Good Clinical Practice to achieve high quality data for research.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Ability to manage complex multi-modality trials and prioritise work load to meet conflicting and critical deadlines.
  2. Excellent communication and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Interpersonal, negotiation and consultative skills and demonstrated capacity to work with sensitive issues in a multidisciplinary team.
