What you'll be doing
The Team Leader Recruitment is responsible for managing the MWU recruitment team, including Recruitment Officers and Senior and Junior Medical Recruitment Coordinators. The role oversees end-to-end recruitment processes for both senior and junior medical staff at Royal North Shore Hospital, ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies, industrial Awards, and accreditation standards. The position provides leadership, operational oversight, and process improvement to deliver timely and effective recruitment services aligned with organisational priorities. On-call cover after hours on a rotating roster for the MWU will be required (1 in 3).

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in managing recruitment processes and workforce administration within a health or complex organisational setting.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise staff, including conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate examples of excellent communication, organisational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
