An exciting opportunity has opened up to join RNSH Medical Workforce Unit as the Roster Coordinator for Junior Medical Officers, working in a friendly and supportive environment to offer a high level of service to our staff and patients.

Where you'll be working
RNSH Medical Workforce Unit
What you'll be doing
Provide rostering and leave coordination services for medical officers across Royal North Shore Hospital ensuring accurate, timely and compliant roster construction, updates and leave processing in accordance with NSW Health policies, industrial awards and accreditation guidelines. Be a point of escalation and exercise independent action under limited direction to resolve complex roster and leave issues and perform quality checks on roster data.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate your advanced experience in medical rostering and leave administration within a complex environment (e.g.,
NSW Health). - Demonstrate your ability to interpret industrial awards and applicable guidelines as relevant to rostering/leave compliance and enquiries.
- Demonstrate your strong communication and customer service skills to manage roster/leave enquiries and stakeholder expectations including the ability to perform quality checks and verify work prepared by other staff.
