What you'll be doing
The Accreditation Manager leads and coordinates the hospital’s preparation for National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards accreditation and other regulatory assessments. They monitor, evaluate, and report on compliance with healthcare standards, driving continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. As a key member of the Patient Safety & Quality Unit, the role supports clinical audits, maintains NSQHS evidence, and helps embed quality practices across the hospital.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in health, risk, quality, or a related field ore equivalent relevant experience. Experience in a professional clinical or health-related role.
- Can you describe your experience leading an organisation’s preparation for accreditation surveys (such as NSQHS)? How did you ensure readiness across multiple departments, and what strategies did you use to achieve a successful outcome?
- This role requires close collaboration with both clinical and non-clinical teams. How have you previously engaged diverse stakeholders to embed quality standards into practice, and what approaches have you used to deliver effective training and drive cultural change?
- Tell us about a time you identified gaps in compliance through audits or data analysis. How did you prioritise actions, implement improvements, and measure the effectiveness of those changes?
