What you'll be doing
Make a meaningful impact behind the scenes of patient care by helping keep our healthcare workforce safe. As a Respiratory Protection and Vaccination Compliance Nurse, you'll work closely with staff across the District to deliver respiratory fit testing, support vaccination compliance, and minimise the risk of infectious disease transmission. Every day, you'll play a key role in protecting the people who care for our community, ensuring they have the knowledge, protection, and support needed to work safely and confidently.
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse with at least 2 years recent clinical experience, and Authorised Nurse Immuniser (ANI) qualification (or working towards same.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, MS teams, MS excel and MS word, and other NSW Health IT systems such as Content Manager, StaffLink, VaxLink and ACCUfit as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control principles or ability to be trained to the required level, during on boarding period.
