The Ambulatory Care Centre is a dynamic and vibrant facility, housing over 40 outpatient specialty clinics, serving both outpatients and a limited number of inpatients. With an average of 600 patient presentations daily, we offer specialist consultations, minor procedures, and post-operative care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Our multidisciplinary team includes around 200 medical consultants, allied health professionals, specialist nurses, and dedicated support staff, all working together across different clinic spaces and specialised areas such as the Integrated Hand Unit, Phototherapy, and the Medical Day Procedure Unit. The Unit hosts a variety of medical and surgical clinics, including endocrine, dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, neurology, plastics, spinal, upper GI, vascular, urology, allergy, hand therapy, and orthopaedics. We also offer several allied health-run services.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Current experience in an acute care environment, with well-refined patient assessment skills and up-to-date clinical knowledge.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Experience in a leadership role or are an aspiring leader, ready to take the next step in your career.
  5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
