Pregnancy Day Assessment Service (PDAS) cares for women with a complex pregnancy and is situated within the antenatal clinic setting.
Women with hypertension, cholestasis, requiring an iron transfusion or fetal monitoring can be seen through PDAS as required. PDAS is staffed with a midwife and supported by medical staff. The PDAS midwife works collaboratively with all midwives, medical staff and allied health workers throughout Maternity Service
PDAS is open Monday to Friday, and the successful applicant will work on Wednesday and Thursday.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues.
- Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
