Where you'll be working
 
This position is based at Mona Vale Community Health Centre, Mona Vale hospital, with rotation to Brookvale Community Health Centre.


What you'll be doing
Providing clinical and administrative support to the physiotherapists working in outpatients and community at both community health centres. Clinical duties may include assistance in group programmes including hydrotherapy and one on one therapy under the supervision of a physiotherapist. This position has a tentative start date of 29th January, 2026. Preferred working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
 

 

  1. Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of an Allied Health Assistant within a large organisation. Ability to work independently under the delegation of an AHP and the ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  3. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Physiotherapist
