An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Mona Vale Hospital Physiotherapy Team. In this role you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team working across inpatients and outpatients with an opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our patients. Where you'll be working
You will be working primarily in the Palliative Care and Geriatric Evaluation Management units with one day a week in the outpatient Rehabilitation and Aged Care Service at Mona vale Hospital..
What you'll be doing
Providing a patient centred and evidence-based physiotherapy service to the patients of the Palliative Care and GEM units and the outpatient Rehab and Aged Care Service with some opportunity to gain experience in inpatient rehabilitation.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated post graduate experience in a hospital setting with experience in aged and restorative care. Experience working in palliative care desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload; work autonomously and as a member of a multi-disciplinary Team.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence desirable.
