An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Physiotherapist to join the dynamic multidisciplinary team at the Chronic Disease Community Rehabilitation Service (CDCRS).

What you'll be doing
This is a district-wide position, based at North Ryde and providing pulmonary and heart failure rehabilitation to patients of the CDCRS at sites across NSLHD including RNS, Mona Vale and Brookvale Community Health Centres, Ryde and Hornsby Hospitals. The CDCRS Physiotherapist works alongside senior physiotherapists and the CDCRS multi-disciplinary team, to assess, plan and implement evidence based rehabilitation to groups and individual patients living in the community with chronic disease; in particular chronic lung disease and/or chronic heart failure.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
 

 

  1. Qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  2. Demonstrated relevant postgraduate clinical experience and community health experience with a broad interest in all areas of physiotherapy practice including aged care and chronic disabilities.
  3. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) and demonstrated computer literacy skills.
