What you'll be doing
The PARVAN Strategy Manager is responsible for line management of the PARVAN strategy and capacity building team. It is responsible for enhancing the capacity of the district workforce to identify and respond to child protection, sexual assault and domestic and family violence concerns in line with the Ministry of Health IPARVAN Framework objectives and meet their roles and responsibilities according to statutory and policy requirements. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of the Child Safe Standards and Safer Pathways Reforms across NSLHD. The PARVAN Strategy Manager is accountable for utilising clinical capabilities, insight, expertise and experience to deliver on evidence informed, integrated and innovative initiatives aligned with the MoH and NSLHD goals, strategies and clinical services plan.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant clinical field and extensive experience in a relevant management role. Sound understanding of the NSW Health system, its demands, environment and knowledge of a range of health services, with a background in clinical service delivery. A current unrestricted Drivers Licence which is valid in NSW, willingness to travel within the district for work purposes.
- Detailed and extensive knowledge, skill and experience working in child protection, sexual assault and domestic and family violence, including an advanced ability to integrate knowledge of legislative, judicial and policy frameworks that guide responses to child protection, sexual assault and domestic and family violence contemporary practices.
- Advanced capabilities in supervision, coaching, mentoring, engagement and motivation of staff to develop capabilities, manage for performance and support staff health and wellbeing.
- Understanding of organisational change principles and extensive proven experience in leading change and quality improvement initiatives within Health service systems.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including project planning, implementation and managing projects to deadlines within an environment of conflicting priorities and tight timeframes.
- High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, build and sustain collaborative relationships and prepare clear and concise business documents.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with and engage key stakeholders of all levels through a collaborative approach, anticipate and solve problems using strategic and innovative solutions and work collaboratively and autonomously in an environment of high and competing demands.
