Older People's Mental Health Program Manager
An opportunity exists for an experienced health manager to act in a temporary full time capacity as the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) Program Manager. The OPMH Program Manager co-ordinates and operationally manages a number of senior clinical positions, the OPMH Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI) team and has delegated responsibility for the strategic and policy direction of OPMH in NSLHD.

What you'll be doing
The Program Manager OPMH co-ordinates and operationally manages the OPMH Clinical Director, OPMH Stage 1 PCLI team, the CNC 3 and CNC 1 and the OPMH Administration Assistant. The Program Manager OPMH additionally strategically co-ordinates OPMH enhancement staff embedded into both OPMHS community teams and the Riverglen Acute Inpatient Unit.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA) registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership to the AASW.
- Demonstrated advanced leadership skills, workforce management and high level skill and experience in the strategic and policy development with respect to OPMHS.
- Demonstrated project management experience and skills including an ability to take initiative and make complex judgements. An understanding of the functionality and communication channels to ensure effective liaison within this model of governance.
