An exciting opportunity exists to join the Occupational Therapy team at Ryde Hospital. We provide a high-quality service to patients in the Acute care and Rehabilitation setting. This position joins a well-established team of Occupational Therapists and Assistants.

Where you'll be working
Occupational Therapy Team at Ryde Hospital including Acute care and Rehabilitation

The Occupational Therapy Team consists of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, each working in multidisciplinary teams providing assessment and treatment to people admitted to Ryde Hospital for acute or at the Graythwaite rehabilitation centre for rehabilitation care. You will be working in a team of highly motivated occupational therapists, with a strong supervision culture and good education and professional development prospects. Opportunity exists to work in both the rehabilitation and acute sector of the hospital as part of a collaborative team of medical, nursing and other allied health staff.
To provide a high level of occupational therapy services to patients and clients.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Proven ability to exercise professional judgement commensurate with years of experience and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and inter-agency networks.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
