Lead with purpose as a Nurse Manager in Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Cardiac Services. This pivotal leadership role overseas the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across the NSLHD Cardiac Rehabilitation and MACARF heart failure services. As Nurse Manager, you’ll guide and support a skilled multidisciplinary team, drive clinical excellence, champion innovative models of care and ensure seamless service coordination throughout the patient journey, with a strong focus on quality improvement, staff development, and strategic service growth.

Remuneration: $2,756.90 - $2,808.09 per week

What you'll be doing

The Nurse manager of Cardiac Rehab/Heart Failure Services provides organisational and clinical leadership to both Service teams providing inpatient and outpatient service modules. Promotes the utilisation of quality management activities in all areas of responsibilities.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Current registration with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) Registered Nurse Division 1.
  3. Recognised tertiary management qualification and/or a combination of study and equivalent experience in acute hospital setting.
  4. Extensive post graduate experience in related services.
  5. Demonstrated operational, finance and human resources experience at middle management level.
  6. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Current Basic Life Support.
  8. Current Drivers Licence.
