What you'll be doing
The position is based within the Department of Child and Youth Psychiatry, Northern Sydney Sector Child & Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS).
The position will carry out Business Manager CYMHS responsibilities, and provide financial, corporate and administrative assistance across CYMHS sectors, within the Northern Sydney Local Health District.
The position deals with a variety of tasks on financial matters, procurement, budgets, health roster maintenance and reviews, and any ad hoc tasks assigned from the Service Director CYMHS and extends to advice on financial matters to all CYMHS Sector Managers. Also deals with enquiries from clinicians across CYMHS sites.
The Business Manager CYMHS also acts as the support person on all recruitment and extend professional development for all sector Administrative staff. Assists the Executive Assistant CYMHS with financial input into all briefing notes.
The position will be based at Macquarie CYMHS executive site. Also may need to travel across sites and attend to tasks allocated within a short time frame and provide quality work.

- Experience in business operations in a health environment including an understanding of the current challenges, issues, risks and major cost drivers impacting its financial position.
- Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office suite of programs, skills in Health System and NSLHD SMRT financial applications.
