What you'll be doing
The purpose of the role is to facilitate and enhance a coordinated, evidenced based, easily accessible approach to care for people presenting to Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) with an eating disorder.

The Eating Disorders (ED) Service Manager provides strategic leadership, oversight, and accountability for staff within the service portfolio, ensuring that clinical practice aligns with evidence-based standards and best practice guidelines.

This role is responsible for the operational management of the ED Service, including consultation-liaison and outpatient treatment across NSLHD. The Manager works collaboratively with internal and external ED service providers to promote integrated, coordinated, and person-centred care.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Demonstrated experience in engaging stakeholders from a range of disciplines and across multiple health care settings and proven clinical and strategic leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to evidenced based practice, contemporary and person cantered care.
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation [including formal Ministerial, Briefings, Complaint Management] and conflict resolution and demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of education packages.
  3. Demonstrated skills in initiating and leading practice change through quality improvement/ research.
