Medical Workforce Officer, Senior Medical Workforce Unit
A position within the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Senior Medical Workforce Unit is available. This position supports the provision of care to patients by ensuring the timely processing of recruitment of Staff Specialist and Visiting Medical Officers.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 14 February 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $1,601.32 - $1,639.18 per week

What you'll be doing
The Medical Workforce Officer, Senior Medical Workforce Unit will carry out recruitment and credentialing related tasks and project related tasks in relation to the appointment of Senior Medical Officers (Specialists) in Northern Sydney Local Health District to meet NSW Health legislation, policies and procedures including NSLHD Medical Workforce strategies.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy including the ability to accurately process and interpret employment data transactions.
- High level computer literacy, particularly spreadsheets, word documents, databases and demonstrated ability to use the range of Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to organise work flows and tasks, prioritise, work under pressure and the ability to work in a high volume and demanding professional small team environment under limited supervision.
