What you'll be doing
The primary purpose is to lead, manage and support the Northern Sydney Local Health district (NSLHD) Population Health Promotion Healthy Ageing Program. This incorporates the NSLHD fee-based Healthy Lifestyle Program including the Healthy Lifestyle Team and exercise class leaders; and collaboration with other related Healthy Ageing activities targeting our Northern Sydney older adult population undertaken by NSLHD Population Health Promotion.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience leading population health, health promotion or healthy ageing initiatives, including program planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams and managing projects, budgets and resources.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across government, health, community and non-government sectors to achieve population-level outcomes.
