Fire Safety Manager
The Fire Safety Manager is responsible for assisting with all aspects of fire education, systems, safety, protection and prevention within the Royal North Shore Hospital Campus and associated Community Health Buildings.
The responsibility of this position includes consultation, development, review and advice on all facets of Fire Safety as a key member of a highly motivated team within one of Australia's top hospitals.

What you'll be doing
The Fire Safety Manager is responsible for assisting with all aspects of fire education, systems, safety, protection and prevention within the Royal North Shore Hospital Campus and associated Community Health Buildings. The position ensures consistency in the development, coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Fire Safety policies, procedures and programs, ensuring compliance with NSW Health Policy Directives and Fire Safety Legislation.
The responsibility of this position includes consultation, development, review and advice on all facets of Fire Safety. Liaison and consultation with all key stakeholders in this process is integral to this position.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Outline your previous experience, noting a minimum 3 years experience in the health care industry as a Fire Safety Officer or equivalent relevant experience. Appropriate qualifications and / or experience in the field of fire prevention, fire safety and emergency evacuation on a large complex site, with evidence of current Fire Safety Management Certificate and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and experience in delivering fire safety training.
- Outline your experience with contract management and compliance in relation to Fire safety equipment and services.
- Demonstrated ability to use update and accurately maintain electronic records and have sound computer skills.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills (including the delivery of training) with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
