Endoscopy Case Coordinator Clinical Nurse Specialist
The Endoscopy Unit and Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking an experienced procedural nurse to perform the role of Endoscopy Case Coordinator. The role is part time until 30 June 2026.

Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital Endoscopy Unit. The role will liaise with Ryde and Hornsby Kuring-Gai Hospital Endoscopy units to coordinate the management of case lists and waiting lists between the three Northern Sydney sites.
What you'll be doing
The Endoscopy Case Coordinator (CNS2) will use comprehensive assessment skills to triage new requests for endoscopy procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy to ensure appropriate management of time and resources, improving wait list times for patients triaged as Category 2 and 3. The role will liaise with Ryde and Hornsby Kuring-Gai Hospital Endoscopy units to coordinate the management of case lists and waiting lists between the three Northern Sydney sites.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical case management co-ordination or skills which would enable exceptional patient case co-ordination.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, within a multidisciplinary team and be able to prioritise and manage a caseload.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
