Eating Disorder Service Dietitian
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia. Must have experience as a level 2 Dietitian.
- Knowledge of the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of people with feeding and eating disorders using evidence based interventions. In particular demonstrated knowledge of or experience in the use of CBT-E and/or Family Based Therapy in treatment and meal support.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a variety of therapeutic counselling models for effective nutritional intervention and support of consumers and their families, including telehealth and virtual models of care; trauma informed care; skill in working with adults, young people as individuals and children and families; and delivery of group therapy. Demonstrated ability to liaise and consult with health, education and welfare professionals involved in the management of consumers.
