Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital - Child Care Centre

What you'll be doing
To provide active leadership to educators in the room in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a child-focused education and care curriculum, ensuring it is consistent with the service philosophy and aligned with the requirements of the National Quality Framework.
The role also contributes to the management of staff and supports their ongoing professional development.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university or Teacher Training Institute and NESA provisional accreditation at a minimum.
  2. Demonstrated ability to implement and analyse educational programs for children 0-5 years within Early Years Learning Framework.
  3. HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or equivalent qualifications (as approved by ACECQA - must cover Provide First Aid and emergency response to asthma and anaphylaxis). Approved child protection qualification.
