Royal North Shore Hospital

What you'll be doing
The Data Quality Officer is primarily responsible for data entry and management for the pancreatic surgical unit. This involves performing patient updates in eMR, REDCap, and various other research tools and systems. The Data Quality Officer is also responsible for data corrections, reporting and data quality audits by maintaining accurate, reliable, and complete data.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrated excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to conduct data investigations and perform thorough checks in addition to excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  2. Excellent computer/IT skills, including demonstrated high level experience in hospital Patient Administration Systems, including Cerner and experience in MS Office Suite particularly in MS Excel and REDCap.
  3. Demonstrated understanding and experience in managing confidential patient records in accordance with legislative requirements, including appropriate management and storage of paper and electronic medical records.
