Northern Beaches Hospital's surgical wards offer exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses who are eager to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic surgical environment. With exposure to a diverse mix of complex surgical cases, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced settings and is motivated by continuous professional development. We are recruiting across four wards, and you will be exposed to orthopaedic, urology, neurology, spinal surgery and general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, to name a few; the wards each have a strong educational culture and supportive management to ensure you’re never navigating challenges alone.
Northern Beaches Hospital's High Volume Surgical Hub is now up and running and we need dedicated nurses to support this new model of care as patients return from theatre and are brought to the wards. The Hub will offer a high volume case mix to keep the day to day interesting!

- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Briefly describe what medical cases/procedures you are currently managing or exposed to in your role.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
