What you'll be doing
The Clinical Trials Coordinator (Endocrinology) will support the coordination, conduct, and delivery of an expanding clinical research portfolio within the Endocrinology Department at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). The Endocrine Clinical Research Unit is dedicated to delivering investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical research across diabetes, obesity, metabolic, pituitary, thyroid, bone and mineral, and endocrine oncology studies. 
Currently, eight clinical trials are confirmed and undergoing governance approval, with an additional fifteen studies in the pipeline through to 2026. The role provides operational and administrative support across this growing portfolio and ensures the high-quality conduct of studies in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethics and governance requirements, and NSLHD research policies.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification or an appropriate clinical discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience in clinical research or health-related fields.
  2. Previous experience in clinical trials coordination or a comprehensive understanding of clinical trial and research processes, including ethics and governance requirements.
  3. Strong attention to accuracy and detail, with excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent studies.
