Where you’ll be working: Hornsby Acute Mental Health Admission Unit.
What you'll be doing: The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and streamlined administrative support to Nurse Unit Manager 3 and the team. The incumbent is expected to have experience in providing administrative and clerical support to large team including management of confidential issues, coordination of meeting and recruitment, preparing and documenting meeting records.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate extensive experience undertaking administrative support roles and responsibilities with rostering systems such as HealthRoster.
- Ability to demonstrate communication skills, including accurate spelling, good comprehension, telephone skills, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal courteously with a range of health professionals.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of practical skills with MS Office products, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Practical skills with EMR and accurate word processing and minute taking skills. An understanding and knowledge of the Intranet.
