Clinical Nurse Specialist Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC)
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Team as the IPAC Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade (CNS2) at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (HKH). Providing leadership, advice and guidance to help drive Infection Prevention and Control across the facility.
HKH IPAC CNS2 role is funded until the end of June 2026 with a view to permanency.

Remuneration: $2,235.41 - $2,308.85 per week

What you'll be doing
The position of Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 is part of a small team which exercises professional knowledge and judgement and works cooperatively in providing leadership and guidance in infection prevention and control.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical nursing knowledge, clinical experience and skill in acute care nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
