Clinical Nurse Consultant- Youth Health

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
2. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration, with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, and with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in paediatric, adolescent and/or youth health nursing speciality.
3. Approved post graduate Masters qualification relevant to the specialty or significant progression of same.
4. Demonstrated professional knowledge in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills in primary health care for young people and ability to work effectively with young people and their family.
5. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, written and presentation skills to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels of the organisation.
6. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
7. Demonstrated capacity to conduct quality improvement and research projects, effectively deliver professional education, and contribute to strategic planning and advocacy for youth health.
8. Demonstrated advanced computer skills and capacity to use health related information technology systems. Current NSW Driver’s license.
