- A Registered Nurse who has a minimum of 7 years full time post graduate experience, with at least 5 years full time equivalent experience in the speciality field. In addition the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification relevant to the speciality and hold a Masters (pertaining to speciality field) or can demonstrate evidence of significant progress in completing a Masters in the relevant speciality field.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with demonstrated networks and partnerships with multiple / key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
- Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and application of evidence based innovative practice, policy and procedure and clinical quality improvement strategies, and demonstrated ability to develop and provide clinical education and conduct research
