What you'll be doing
The Clinical Information System Manager plays a key role within the Digital Health Service, clinical team to meet business, schedule and budget objectives for electronic records for Intensive Care.
The Clinical Information System (CIS) Manager will manage business as usual activities, maintain and further develop all clinical information systems, to provide first tier support, to perform vendor liaison/management, to provide user training and develop & implement a database to enable reporting systems and assist with data analysis.
This position is responsible for developing strategies and programs to support the human factors of the electronic Medical Record (eMR) - NSLHD Program, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and LHD structures.
The CIS Manager will also continue to develop a reporting database linked to the current system, designed to user requirements, to produce reports and assist with data analysis, development of data collection tools for clinical trials & research.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a Health discipline, Information Management/informatics, or Information Communications & Technology.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present reports, with a working knowledge of data management and data security.
- Demonstrated high level of organisational skills with the ability to plan, manage change, improve performance and effectively prioritise tasks, multi-task and work creatively to achieve business goals.
Demonstrated high level of knowledge of health processes, critical care workflows and models of care.
