Clinical Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity within Clinical Engineering for professionals with a strong background in electronics and/or electrical engineering.
In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in supporting, maintaining, and verifying medical equipment across clinical environments. You will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure that critical medical devices operate safely, reliably, and effectively to support patient care.

Remuneration: $1,515.10 - $1,933.78 per week

Where you'll be working
Clinical Technology Service - Located at Royal North Shore Hospital
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of medical devices.
Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with relevant standards, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with clinical staff and stakeholders to resolve equipment issues and optimise device performance.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Biomedical, Computer, Electronics/Electrical of Mechatonic Engineering, or equivalent from a recognised university or College of Advanced Education.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in troubleshooting in design of electronic/computer equipment or equivalent.
- Sound competency with using computers skill including database systems and office productivity software. Demonstrated knowledge of software principles, windows operating system and data network theory and application.
- Current NSW drivers licence.
