We are seeking Casual Qualified Educators to fill at Royal North Shore Hospital Child Care Centre a long day care service located at Royal North Shore Hospital.

What you'll be doing
Our Child Care Services provide work based early education and care services onsite at Royal North Shore Hospital. Responsive play-based programs and learning environments, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, are provided for children 0 - 5 years.
The position of Child Care Worker exists within the Northern Sydney Local Health District. The position is situated at the Hospital Child Care Centre, which provides day care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The position requires the incumbent to work rotating shifts on a casual basis as required. Award conditions apply to this.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- ACECQA approved Certificate or Diploma qualification in children’s services.
- Applied knowledge of early education and care with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Valid Working with children checks, updated child protection training and national child safety training qualification (Statement of Attainment).
- Ability to work rotating shifts across the services operating hours.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of educators to deliver an education and care service and excellent interpersonal skills.
